<p><b>Samuel Isenegger</b> (* <a href="2._November" title="2. November">2. November</a> <a href="1964" title="1964">1964</a>) war ein <a href="Schweiz" title="Schweiz">Schweizer</a> <a href="Schachkomposition" title="Schachkomposition">Studienkomponist</a> im <a href="Schach" title="Schach">Schach</a>.

<p>Isenegger begann um 1925 zu komponieren,<sup id="cite_ref-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-1"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>1<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup>
leitete Schachspalten in Tageszeitungen und war 15 Jahre Redakteur der Studienrubrik der <a href="Schweizerische_Schachzeitung" title="Schweizerische Schachzeitung">Schweizerischen Schachzeitung</a>. Er komponierte einige Zwei- und Dreizüger, hauptsächlich aber über 350 meist im Aufbau leicht zu überblickende <a href="Schachkomposition#Studien" title="Schachkomposition">Studien</a><sup id="cite_ref-2" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-2"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>2<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup>. Er veröffentlichte in den Schachecken zahlreicher Schweizer Tageszeitungen sowie in internationalen Schachzeitschriften. Zu seinen Lehrmeistern zählte er <a href="Alexei_Alexejewitsch_Troizki" title="Alexei Alexejewitsch Troizki">Alexei Alexejewitsch Troizki</a>, <a href="Henri_Rinck" title="Henri Rinck">Henri Rinck</a>, <a href="Leonid_Iwanowitsch_Kubbel" title="Leonid Iwanowitsch Kubbel">Leonid Iwanowitsch Kubbel</a> und die Brüder <a href="Wassili_und_Michail_Platow" class="mw-redirect" title="Wassili und Michail Platow">Wassili und Michail Platow</a>.
</p><p>1959 wurde er <i>Internationaler Schiedsrichter für Schachkompositionen</i>.<sup id="cite_ref-3" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-3"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>3<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup>
